Eid being celebrated in Pakistan’s Tribal Areas including North Waziristan

Miranshah, Pakistan: Pakistan’s tribal areas North Waziristan, a restive mountainous area, and Shabqadar are celebrating Eid today after spotting Eid moon on Friday night.

However, Eid moon was not sighted in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries including United Arab Emirates, Qatar and others. Throughout the world, modern and latest meteorological instruments were used to spot Eid moon still there was no sight of the crescent.  Surprisingly moon was only spotted in Tribal areas making area people to observe Eid today. And the people of that area observed only 28 fasts, which is first time in history of Pakistan.
According to local sources, people started aerial firing after they claimed to have sighted the Shawal crescent. The sighting of Shawwal moon means that the fasting of the holy month of Ramazan has finally culminated into Eid-ul-Fitr, which is one of the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, all over the world.
