Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan has emerged as one of the few countries in the world where over 86% women have been registered through a secure bio-metric technology introduced by the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA).

A spokesman for NADRA said on Friday that ”Four years ago, less than 50% women were registered.” Pakistan is also among the few top countries that have fingerprint records and registration data of 96% of its adult population.
”The authority aims to achieve 100% women registration across the country,” the spokesman added.
