New Delhi, India: Pakistan’s High Commissioner in India, Salman Bashir on Friday night handed over a cheque worth $1 million to the management of Khawaja Moeen ud Din Chisti’s shrine in Ajmer Sharif, Inida.
Salman Bashir handed over the cheque on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari and people of Pakistan.Earlier, President Zardari announced the donation when he went on the special visit to Ajmer Sharif in April this year, and also met Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during the visit.
