Mobile services restored after the block across the country
Lahore, Pakistan: The mobile services have been completely restored across the country. The services were suspended following terror threats in Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Quetta and other major cities on the eve of Eid.
The mobile phone services were suspended at 8.00PM on Sunday and restored at 10.00 AM on Monday. Earlier, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that ”Mobile phone services would be suspended for sometime to foil terror bids.””Terrorists can strike on the occasion of Eid and security agencies have been put on high alert,” he added. He apologized to public for the inconvenience caused due to the suspension of mobile phone services.
