More Than 310 killed by factory fires in Pakistan
Karachi, Pakistan: The death toll from devastating factory fires in two Pakistani cities on Tuesday has risen to more than 310.
According to a Pakistani official ”289 people have died from the blaze that ripped through a garment factory in the southern port city of Karachi.” The search continues at the charred building for more bodies. The cause of that blaze is under investigation.
Police officials said that they are searching for the factory’s owners. Ministers in Sindh province ordered inspections for all factories in the province. Karachi is Pakistan’s biggest, most populous city and its commercial hub.
