Blast in Peshawar kills three (BREAKING NEWS)
Peshawar, Pakistan: A loud explosion ripped through Pakistan’s northwestern city of Peshawar on Wednesday, killing three people, hospital sources said.
According to the officials, the explosion took place near the Scheme Chowk area on the city’s Kohat Road. Hospital and rescue sources confirmed that three people had been killed in the attack and over 20 injured.
According to the initial reports, a bomb was apparently planted in a car on the Kohat Road, damaging several cars in the vicinity. However, reports regarding the nature of the explosive material and the target of the attack could not be ascertained as yet.
Rescue teams reached the site of the reported explosion and initiated rescue work.
