Australia grabs women’s T20 title
Colombo, Sri Lanka: Australia grabs World Twenty20 women’s title with a four-run win over England in the final in Colombo on Sunday.
Australia, who scored 142-4 after being sent in to bat, restricted England to 138-9 at the Premadasa stadium. The men’s final between the West Indies and hosts Sri Lanka will be played at the same venue later on Sunday. (AFP)
