Islamabad, Pakistan: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) Sunday formulated new prices of petroleum products and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), changing prices within week keeping in view the global oil prices.
The price of CNG and petrol has been reduced by two rupees. The new prices are effective from October 21. According to the notification, after a decrease of Rs2.35, petrol is now available for Rs101.08 per litre.
The new rate for hi-speed diesel after a reduction of 33 paisa is Rs113.29 per litre while light diesel is available for Rs97.68 per litre after the price was lowered by 55 paisa. Kerosene is available for Rs103.26 per litre after a reduction of 61 paisa.
Ministry of petroleum sources said that an approval has also been given for a cut in CNG prices by on average Rs2.00 per kilo, while in region-I by Rs2.12 per kilo and in region-II by Rs1.94 per kilo.
