FIA should probe Asghar Khan case says Nawaz Sharif
Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif said Thursday that the probe in the Asghar Khan case should be conducted by the FIA as per the orders of the Supreme Court.
Sharif was speaking to Hamid Mir on Capital Talk and added that the PML-N had struggled for the judiciary and would not dishonor it.
When asked about claims by Younus Habib that he had personally given money to Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N president replied that Habib had a criminal track record and had been ousted during his government for involvement in scandals.
”I was not given nor did I receive any money,” Shairf said.
”Opposition Leader Chaudhry Nisar did not speak against the Supreme Court rather just expressed his reservations regarding the FIA,” Nawaz said.
