Fan waited for 27 years to meet Big B
Mumbai, India: Amitabh Bachchan was overwhelmed after meeting a fan from eastern European nation Moldova, who waited 27 years to meet the Hindi movie megastar.
“Vera from Moldova waited for 27 years to meet me finally did Thursday with 27 roses and a host of gifts… persistance never fails. I never have sufficient verbology to respond to such acts of love… so humbled and stumped for words…!!” Amitabh tweeted on a micro-blogging website.
Talking about another crazy fan, Big B wrote: “Another Russian girl became a drug dealer to earn money to travel to see me in India… got caught and is in jail… aahh! Painful.”
Bachan further added that “I had sent her a video message through a TV crew not to have done this… had she expressed it to me could have found a way.”
Big B says he’s at loss of words to see the love and affection that people show for him.
