Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined that JUTTNI would become the success that it did. It was my first attempt at writing any poetry in a language other than English.

My songs often carry messages for those who listen carefully. I’m putting forward my philosophy on the world and life in general through my poetry and I guess people listen to me because of that aswell.

There are quite few things going on but the real next project is my first album which would be complete in a month’s time if all goes according to plan.
Where do you see yourself in next 5 years from now?
I’m not sure where I see myself. Music business is one where you can be never too sure. But if you ask me where I would like to see myself, my answer would be on the billboard top 100 chart.

There are a couple of Karachi kids I really like but I couldn’t remember their names.
If you were a t-shirt, what color would you be and Why?
I’ll be aqua blue and black, maybe because they describe my moods.
Can you talk about that one defining moment when you knew you wanted to be a rapper?
It’s quite a long story and it would get a bit boring in writing. I was in my 2nd year at FC College and one day I got to visit a recording studio with a guitar player I knew from college. The producer there just asked me about my music inspirations and asked me to sing him a couple of EMINEM songs after which he was quite impressed and even asked me to join his group. That for the first time made me realize that probably I was better at rap than I was at singing melodies and I didn’t look back from that day onward.
Can you talk about a fan encounter that completely took you by surprise?
All I can say is, the walk back from the auditorium to the car park in KINNAIRD COLLEGE was pretty interesting:P I never knew I was that famous there.
After being famous have you started getting more Bachyan (GIRLS)?
